Position: Python Developer

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Hybrid: 2-3 times a week on the client´s office

Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium

Mandatory Languages: One of the national languages (Dutch and French) must be the mother tongue, and the other language must be understood and readable

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer to join our backend team. You will work on designing scalable systems, optimizing backend services, and integrating them with other applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop backend systems using Python, Django, and Flask;
  • Work with RESTful APIs and integrate them with databases and third-party services;
  • Optimize backend performance and scalability;
  • Write automated tests using pytest and other testing libraries;
  • Follow Agile practices and work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Python, Django, and Flask;
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB);
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure);
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes);
  • Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
