About The Role

We're looking for a Founding Engineer to help drive and execute our product vision and technology roadmap. This role offers the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities by guiding and growing the engineering team at Radilink.

You will work directly under the CEO and act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the company's current and future operations.

What You'll Do

As our Founding Engineer, you'll be instrumental in shaping the architecture and technical direction of Radilink, helping us build a robust platform and scale its capabilities to meet growing demands.

• Architect and Build: Design and implement Radilink's foundational platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security from the outset
• Own the Tech Stack: Take full ownership of selecting and maintaining the technology stack. Make critical decisions about our technology choices, balancing current needs with future scalability
• Oversee Security: Lead the security efforts across the platform, ensuring the highest standards for both organizational and product security
• Define Development Processes: Set and manage the software development process, from defining team cadences to ensuring high-quality, efficient output
• Collaborate with Product Team: Work closely with the Product team to understand their needs on the platform side and ensure the engineering team can support the product's evolving roadmap
• Align Technological Resources: Ensure the technological resources align with the company's short- and long-term goals, optimizing for both performance and scalability
• Lead the Way: Set high technical standards, mentor future hires, and lay the groundwork for scaling the engineering team
• Manage Budgets and Timelines: Oversee technology budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope
• Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards and industry best practices
• Innovate with Stablecoins: Leverage stablecoin technologies to solve complex challenges in global payments
• Stay Hands-On: From writing production-grade code to debugging infrastructure, you'll be deeply involved in every technical aspect
  
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong track record of designing and implementing scalable solutions
• Proven experience in fast-paced FinTech environments, scaling horizontal products
• Deep expertise in fintech, especially in payments, smart contracts, and stablecoin technologies
• Skilled in building and launching products from ideation through iteration and scaling
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Advanced English proficiency with excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Experience building within web3 / with blockchain technologies, understanding of financial markets, and stablecoin economics
• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects

Our Hiring Process

From the first to the final stage, we do our best to keep the entire process under three weeks. Our interviews take place via Meet and typically consist of the following stages:

• Introductory Call (30-45 minutes): A casual conversation about your background, motivations, and interest in Radilink
• Culture & Vision Call (Q&A) (30 minutes): A conversation with the co-founder to discuss Radilink's mission, values, and vision, learn more about your background, and see if there's a mutual fit
• Technical Workshop (60 minutes): A real-world problem-solving exercise to evaluate your skills and fit
• Final Interview (60 minutes): A strategic discussion to align on vision, culture, and goals

Location & Right to Work: This is a remote position for candidates based in the EU (CET time zone). Candidates must have long-term work authorization within the EU, as visa sponsorship is unavailable.
