Mobile Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Development Expertise:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications using Java, Kotlin, and C/C++.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to ensure readability and ease of maintenance.
Contribute to the development of robust Android SDKs for internal and external use.
Code Quality and Testing:
Build maintainable and testable codebases by employing best practices in API design, unit testing, and UI testing techniques.
Perform thorough testing to ensure applications function optimally across different Android devices and operating system versions.
Application Maintenance and Debugging:
Maintain existing applications to ensure smooth performance, identify and resolve issues, and incorporate user feedback.
Leverage tools for crash analytics, remote debugging, and continuous integration to improve the reliability and performance of applications.
Mobile Architecture Design:
Develop scalable and modular architectures following Android design principles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative features that enhance the user experience.
Tool Proficiency:
Utilize and stay updated on Android development tools such as Android Studio, Gradle, Fastlane, Xcode, and CocoaPods to streamline the development process.
Work with version control systems and build pipelines to ensure smooth delivery of applications.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mobile development.
Contribute to team knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior developers to elevate the team's technical capabilities.

Qualifications And Skills

Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in mobile application development.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality Android applications and SDKs.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and C/C++ programming languages.
In-depth understanding of Android development tools like Android Studio, Gradle, and Fastlane.
Strong knowledge of mobile architectures and design principles for Android applications.
Familiarity with Xcode and CocoaPods for cross-platform integration where applicable.
Problem-Solving and Debugging:
Experience in maintaining applications with tools for crash analytics and remote debugging.
Strong analytical skills to identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
A proactive approach to learning and staying ahead of industry trends.
Ability to mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in designing APIs and integrating third-party APIs.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of advanced concepts like multi-threading, memory optimization, and UI animations.
