A leading SaaS company specialising in property risk, compliance, and safety is seeking a Senior .Net & Azure Engineer to drive a brand-new SaaS software product from the ground up to eventually replace the incumbent one. You’ll be helping them accelerate towards this goal, working with a dynamic team who follow the ‘Build It, Ship It, Own It’ philosophy.

Requirements

  • Expertise building complex SaaS applications in .NET and Azure platform
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of building API and Web based systems
  • A keen interest in staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technology
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment


Responsibilities

Hands-On Development:

  • Development of a new, robust and scalable SaaS software product using .NET and Azure tech
  • Ensure best practices in software development, including continuous integration, testing, and deployment
  • Actively participate in coding, code reviews, and technical problem-solving
  • Handle system maintenance, including troubleshooting and resolving bugs in new system

Project Ownership:

  • Own individual projects from inception through deployment, reporting on progress, challenges, and timelines
  • Collaborate with Engineering Team Leads and Product Owners to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Actively participate in team discussions and help design scalable, high-performance solutions.

  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the Team Lead and other team members to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Participate in team meetings, provide status updates, and contribute to team decision-making processes
  • Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and continuous integration/deployment
