Who We Are

SocialPro is revolutionising how businesses measure and manage social procurement and sustainability performance. We’re growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a talented Full-Stack Engineer to join our in-house team. Based in Melbourne, you’ll collaborate with product designers and engineers to shape the future of social impact technology.

What You’ll Be Doing in This Role

As a Full-Stack Engineer at SocialPro, you’ll play a key role in developing the platform that powers social procurement across major projects. Your responsibilities include:

Design & Development:

Transform design concepts into intuitive, functional web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and back-end technologies like Node.js or Python.

Develop scalable server-side logic to ensure smooth data management and reporting.

User Experience & Optimisation:

Build seamless, responsive user interfaces while optimising back-end services for performance, scalability, and security.

Ensure all features contribute to a positive and efficient user experience.

Collaboration:

Work closely with our product designer, developers, and clients to refine features and create data-driven experiences.

Implement feedback quickly across both front-end and back-end systems.

Problem-Solving:

Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks across the platform.

Suggest and implement improvements to enhance platform capabilities.

Ownership:

Take full ownership of features from concept through to deployment, ensuring high standards of quality.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a passionate Full-Stack Engineer who can thrive in both front-end and back-end environments. Here’s what makes you a great fit:

Proven Experience: Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, or similar.

Database Skills: Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL.

Attention to Detail: Ability to deliver high-quality, secure, and responsive solutions that elevate the user experience.

Problem-Solving Skills: A creative mindset to tackle challenges and implement smart solutions.

Collaboration Skills: Experience working in cross-functional teams, bridging product design and engineering.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
