What project we have for you

Customer is a pan-European mobile payment solution in b2b segments. Allow banks and retailers to support fast, secure and anonymous payments using mobile devices. It does transmit or store personal data from the user’s smartphone (iOS and Android). It is designed to be seamlessly integrated into existing banking apps or retail registers.

With every purchase, it generates a one time password that is valid for four minutes and displays it on the smartphone screen, triggering an anonymous payment directly from the customer’s debit account. Additionally, it can be integrated with retailer loyalty rewards programs, facilitating a one-scan payment & loyalty process at the register.

What you will do

Design:

• Analysis and documentation of business processes using appropriate software tools (e.g. Visio)

• consolidating multiple data sources into a centralized data store

• Design of an adequate monitoring and alerting system including configuration options for each of the monitored processes

Monitoring:

• Manage and configure monitoring environments (dashboards, monitors with notifications)

• Check notifications (warnings and errors) on a daily basis, especially early in the morning

• In case of errors: check with development what the cause is and how missing files (reports, invoice, EBICS orders) can be generated end delivered

Incident Handling

• Collaborate with operations team about the incident

• Coordinate actions to be taken

• transfer missing file per SFTP or EBICS. Access to production systems is necessary

Application deployment

• Deploy configuration changes (created by engineers) to production

• (Re)deploying applications to production

What you need for this

Your Skills

• You have basic experience in system administration under Linux

• Experience in working with systems on AWS is an advantage

• Systems monitoring experience

• Experience with tools like Prometheus or Datadog.

• Good written and spoken English – B2
