Senior Full Stack Developer

Our client is the third largest banking institution in the United States that is commonly cited as being too big to fail. They have approximately 200 million customer accounts and do business in more than 160 countries.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Front-End Developer (Java+React) to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in TypeScript, React, HTML5, and modern CSS frameworks to create highly interactive and accessible interfaces, and Java on the backend side. You’ll work alongside a passionate development team in a collaborative environment where innovation and quality drive us forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain highly scalable, responsive web applications using TypeScript and React.|
• Write and maintain HTML5 and CSS/SCSS code for building intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Implement and maintain JavaScript features, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Work with backend developers to integrate Node.js services with front-end components.
• Create and execute UI automated tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and product managers to define and implement new features.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Java, TypeScript and React, with a strong foundation in JavaScript.
• Expertise in HTML5 and CSS/SCSS, with an eye for responsive and mobile-first design.
• Proficiency in Node.js for integrating front-end elements with backend services.
• Experience with UI automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, or similar tools).
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with design systems or component libraries.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
• Experience with front-end build tools and package managers, such as Webpack, Babel, andnpm.
