Wood is a global supplier of project, engineering and technical services to the energy and industrial market and has operations in more than 60 countries and a total of 35,000 employees worldwide. We are a multidisciplinary company with expertise covering all phases of a project lifecycle from early phase to completion, including procurement and project management. Wood in Norway is headquartered in Sandefjord, but we also have offices in Oslo, Stavanger, Bergen and Herøya and employ around 800 people.
Wood performs engineering of new construction and modification projects onshore, offshore and subsea, both within the oil and gas sector, process industry, but also for floating units, fixed installations and ships. In addition, we supply modifications, repairs and operational support for installations in operation.
We take on various projects, from engineering to full EPCIC deliveries which also include project management, procurement, construction, installation, hook-up and start-up/ commissioning.

Responsibilities
- Help the Project Manager and team with contracts and commercial issues, making sure we follow both the contract and company rules
- Either by yourself or through reportees in the project, handle all aspects of project control like costs, planning, risks, and estimates
- Keep a tight grip on changes, ensuring variation requests are handled correctly and logged
- Deal with all commercial challenges in the project, including disputes with clients and suppliers
- Reporting to the client and to management
- Drive project growth and lead change management
- Keep the project plan up-to-date and high-quality
- Manage the project's money - budget, costs, and cash flow
- Watch project trends, analyze them, and push for improvements
- Keep performance metrics on track
- Ensure reports have the right info at the right time
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience and good understanding and overview of all tasks to be performed
- Be proactive, methodical and take the lead where necessary
- Excellent communication skills, written, oral, and presentation, ability to engage with key stakeholders
- Ability to work as part of a team and manage others
- Ability to prioritize key tasks and solve problems for the team
