The Account Development Specialist is part of the Sales and Client Retention team. Their primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining existing client accounts, implementing retention strategies, and driving cross-selling opportunities. They also work closely with leads and referrals to build lasting client relationships and ensure a seamless client experience.

Responsibilities
- Working on customer retention through research and active follow-up, with the aim of developing accounts that represent recurrent, valued customers.
- Developing a plan to establish contacts with the goal of helping spread the word within existing accounts.
- Actively following up on new contacts to keep us top of mind until we successfully close the first deal with them.
- Following up on new contacts after their first purchase until one of the following occurs
- A contact completes four (4) purchases.
- A semester ends, counting from the date of our first contact.
- Following up on leads to turn them into clients. These leads may be generated when
- An existing contact who no longer works for an existing client is located in a new position at a different company.
- Referrals from existing or new contacts are generated by these campaigns, but they work at a different company.
- Explaining our business model to clients, and advising them on our services, with a special emphasis on promoting cross-selling of all types of language services.
- Helping document the needs and expectations of these new active contacts with the purpose of completing a seamless transition to the Account Manager in the future, as described above.
- Acting as the Account Manager for the first four sales or the first six months.
Essential
Requirements
- Highly motivated person with the aim to succeed and a positive learning attitude.
- Native or near-native command of the English language.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- 3+ years of experience interacting with clients.
- Experience working with a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Business Day 10 00 - 18 00 US Central Time.
- Analytical skills.
