OutSystems Developer - 12 months Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Utilize the OutSystems platform to create, customize, and enhance web and mobile applications according to project requirements. This involves building user interfaces, logic flows, data models and integrating backend systems.
• Coding and Configuration: Write clean, efficient and maintainable code in OutSystems. Configure components, modules, and integrations as needed to achieve desired functionalities.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of the applicants to identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and ensure overall software quality. Perform debugging and troubleshooting where when problem arises.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the project team, including business stakeholders, UX designers, and other developers, to understand requirements and provide technical expertise. Participate in code reviews and contribute to design discussions.
• Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize applicant performance and enhance user experience through code improvements and platform-specific features.
• Documentation: Document the application design, architecture, and technical specifications to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
• Integration: Integrate OutSystems applications with external systems and APIs to enable data exchange and smooth interoperability.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that applications adhere to security best practices and meet relevant security standards, such as data protection and regulations and industry-specific requirements.
• Service Level Agreement: Ensure that all service level agreements are met to ensure smooth operations of business.
• Administration: Effectively use Service Center & Lifetime tools to manage User Accounts, troubleshoot and deploy applications across environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• Proficient in web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and front-end frameworks.
• Familiar with database design and SQL for data modeling and manipulation
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Experience on OutSystems Platform is a plus.
• OutSystems certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
