People Development Specialist (12M, Pharma, Cork)

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST (LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT / TRAINING) required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational Pharmaceutical client in Cork. Initial 12 month contract on offer with an option of Hybrid working (Minimum 3 days required on-site).

The PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST (LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT / TRAINING) will manage people development across the site. This includes collaborating with Senior Management in the execution and delivery of the site-wide L&D strategy, the role will report to the People Development Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the delivery of Dignity and Respect in Action program for the site.
• Own, deliver and further develop our internal L&D programme content
• Support and deliver Global Leadership Development Programmes.
• Own site metrics for People Development with a keen eye on business impact and ROI.
• Deliver and provide feedback on selected psychometric assessments at individual and team level.
• Contribute to site wide employee engagement, culture and wellbeing initiatives.
• Knowledge and experience of implementing the full HRD cycle (identify, design, deliver and evaluate)
• A drive for ongoing professional development, a passion to keep abreast of key trends in the L&D space

REQUIREMENTS:

• Professional Qualification in Organizational Psychology/Training/Learning and Development/Human Resource development essential, with manufacturing/industry experience.
• Training delivery and evaluation (previously Train the trainer QQI Level 6) or equivalent
• Preference for qualified Coach and psychometric qualification, particularly Insights.
