Frontend Developer

Our client, a well-known retail apparel company, is looking for a Frontend Developer to join their team for a remote 12-month contract.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop responsive, scalable web applications using industry best practices in front-end development.
  • Transform UI/UX designs into functional front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/React.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and database-driven components seamlessly.
  • Refine and document technical requirements, ensuring alignment with UX specifications.
  • Debug and resolve errors, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
  • Write clean, scalable, and reusable code while adhering to coding standards.
  • Implement unit tests, functional tests, and performance optimization practices.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Redux.
  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS, Tailwind CSS, Headless Components, and Micro-Frontend architecture.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
  • Strong responsive design skills to support diverse browsers and mobile devices.
  • Hands-on experience with API integration for backend services.
  • Familiarity with build tools like Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, including GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with project management tools like JIRA.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience building modern web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • A solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize performance effectively.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code following development best practices.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with design, development, and product teams.
