For our IT Flight Systems Team within General Services, we are looking for a:

IT .NET Developer

Main duties in this pivotal role:

• Design and Develop applications to satisfy Luxair business needs
• Work close with the architecture team to ensure correct usage of the resources required
• Provide user-interfaces and backend-services to build applications that the company can benefit from
• Deliver seamless user interfaces and robust back-end solutions
• Supervise, code, and maintain impactful in-house software
• Integrate third-party components and software for optimal performance
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Collaborating with other technically skilled team members in testing new applications to ensure functional requirements are met
• Update and manage applications to ensure it provides company with proper business solutions and accurate results
• Research new software packages and make system upgrade recommendations based on the organization's strategic goals
• Creating error logging and reporting solutions
• Developing clean, efficient, and high-quality code
• Testing and refining applications to meet critical functional requirements
• Writing and maintaining documentation
• Participating in code reviews to ensure that code is of high quality
• Collaborating with project owner to establish project timelines and deliverables

Essential qualifications:

• Computer Science degree and/or an equally compelling story of experience and expertise
• Strong experience with several programming languages such as .NET + .NET Core technologies, .Net Multi-Platform (MAUI)
• Experience with front-end technologies and related patterns such as HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.js
• Experience with Entity Framework, ADO.NET, SQL
• Experience using Azure DevOps, GIT source and Version Control
• Experience building Azure DevOps pipelines
• Extensive knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Software development best practices and methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
• Proficient in Object Oriented Programmingconcepts and design patterns
• Understand the Fundamentals of Devops
• Understanding of end-to-end lifecycle process and tool set
• Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail and an ability and willingness to learn and adapt quickly
• Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Knowledge of the security best practices is an asset
• Able to take over the maintenance and support of existing applications
• Mastery of spoken and written communication in English ensuring flawless information dissemination
