Halian are looking for a Business Analyst for a 12-month contract with our client who are a global IT Consultancy. The ideal candidate will need to be fluent in Arabic and have experience working with Government entities.

The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements, translating them into clear technical specifications, and facilitating the development of effective solutions.The individual will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical experts to ensure that solutions meet business objectives and improve operational efficiency.

• Backlog Management and Prioritization:
• Develop, maintain, and prioritize a well-defined product backlog that is aligned with the product strategy and roadmap.
• Clearly define user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization to provide clear direction to the development team.
• Continuously refine and adjust the backlog based on changing business needs, feedback, and market conditions.
  
  

Collaboration with Development Teams:

• Serve as the primary liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on requirements and priorities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to provide clarification and guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure that features meet usability and design standards.
  
  

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., SWOT, Gap Analysis, process modeling).
• Experience with requirements management software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools).
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and basic understanding of databases is a plus.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Waterfall.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to diverse audiences.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA).
