The Opportunity

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Junior Back End Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Our client is a comprehensive trading terminal and portfolio management system designed for the cryptocurrency sector. The company provides a platform that facilitates real-time management of crypto portfolios and positions, execution of trades across multiple blockchains, and access to various trading instruments. They offer the best price routing, advanced order types, synthetic pairs, token screening, and portfolio management across 13 different blockchain networks. The solution provides access to a security-verified selection of centralized exchanges, decentralized exchanges and pools, and OTC desks across multiple blockchain networks with seamless money movement through APIs and a user interface. The company is based in San Francisco, California.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing centralized market integrations, high-speed order execution, and improving and maintaining the existing trading system.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience with Go backend development, including working on CRUD patterns, building REST APIs, and implementing GraphQL solutions.
• Expertise in deploying microservices using Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Understanding of distributed systems and messaging frameworks like Kafka.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Nice to have:

• Experience in developing integrations with trading APIs.
• Familiarity with crypto derivatives and trading platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop integrations with centralized finance exchanges, market makers, and OTC desks
• Develop and maintain microservices in Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with other engineers to improve the overall performance of the trading platform.
• Optimize the platform for low latency and high throughput.
• Troubleshoot and resolve trading, order management, and market data feed issues.
• Ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and secure.
