Role : Application Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of software applications from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and project plans. Oversee the design and architecture of applications ensuring scalability reliability and maintainability.
• Develop and enforce coding standards best practices and quality assurance processes to ensure high quality deliverables.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams including IT operations infrastructure security and QA to ensure seamless integration and operation of applications
• Manage resources budgets and timelines for application development projects ensuring that milestones are met, and deliverables are on schedule.
• Lead a team of developers providing guidance support and mentorship to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
• Monitor application performance identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies industry trends and best practices in application development and incorporate relevant advancements into the organization s processes and strategies
• Handle escalated issues and provide timely resolution to minimize impact on business operations
• Develop and maintain documentation for applications including technical specifications user guides and support manuals
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements security standards and data protection policies in all application development and deployment activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science information technology or a related field advanced degree preferred
• Proven experience 10 years in application development and management with a strong background in software engineering principles methodologies and technologies
• Prior experience 10 years managerial role with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve goals
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python C or others as well as familiarity with web development frameworks database management systems and cloud technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Solid understanding of project management principles and practices with experience in Agile or other iterative development methodologies
• Knowledge of DevOps practices continuous integration continuous deployment CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements
• Certifications such as PMP Scrum Master or ITIL are a plus
