Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Ghent, Belgium
Overview:
As a Data Analyst, you support the energy transition by optimizing the design, implementation, and integration of technological solutions for proactive investment in distribution networks. You collaborate internally and externally to align policy, budgets, and opportunities, focusing on spatial and asset information within the GIS system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align GIS data with municipal and utility projects.
- Ensure efficient data management to support policy and investment decisions.
- Analyze and translate business needs into functional requirements.
- Identify and implement best practices for data optimization.
- Support the Asset Planning team with data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Lead or contribute to projects with information or process impacts.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and maintain organizational coherence.
- Monitor and improve documentation, training, and communication processes.
Skills & Expertise:
- Demonstrable experience with GIS systems.
- Experience with Databricks.
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
- Programming skills in Python.
- Analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities.
- Knowledge of Asset Management and utility networks.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in Dutch at a B2-level is required.
