Test Engineer

A leading Medical Device provider is seeking a Test Automation Engineer role for an onsite full-time position in Helsinki.

Responsibilities:

Exercise critical, innovative thinking and apply best practice design and test methodologies to design, develop, and maintain test infrastructure solutions for functional, non-functional, challenging, and stress test scenarios

Collaborate with engineering teams to gather test and use scenarios, and design interfaces for test scripting and continuous integration systems.

Monitor the health of the testing infrastructure and triage issues

Ensure compliance with medical regulatory standards during test development, execution, and reporting including tool validation, report defects in product design and participate in technical reviews

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's or master’s degree in Software, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience using Python in testing software for complex embedded systems

Experience with Linux and shell scripting

Knowledge of Robot Framework

Excellent problem-solving skills. Hands-on with HW/SW integration issues

Proficiency in English, both spoken and written

EU work permit

Desired Characteristics

Familiar with Agile software development methods

Experience with version control systems like Git, code review tools, and the practice of continuous integration

Experience with C++, C
