Role Description

Business analysts identify, define and document software requirements to be developed

and business processes to be supported with software. They serve as a liaison between

business and IT teams by facilitating communication and determining software objectives

that align with stated and unstated business needs.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 3 years of experience with business analysis and/or requirements engineering in a

financial services institution (investment bank, retail bank, insurance undertaking, etc.).

• Proficiency in English (B2 level of Common European Framework of Reference for

Languages or equivalent).

• Business degree obtained from a university.
• Experience determining the explicit and implicit needs and requirements of various

stakeholders.

• Ability to quickly learn the objectives, structures, operations and policies of a new

business area.

• Strong problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve

target outcomes.

• Proven interpersonal skills and an ability to influence senior leaders and peers.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed

manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.

• Experience creating documentation such as business case documentation or business

requirements summaries.

• Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and software tools for agile planning

as Jira.

• Experience with the methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all

or part of a business in terms of business goals, objectives, functions and processes, the

information used and the data on which the information is based.

• Experience with the definition of requirements for improving processes and systems,

reducing their costs, enhancing their sustainability, and the quantification of potential

business benefits.

• Experience with the collaborative creation and iteration of viable specifications and

acceptance criteria in preparation for the deployment of information and

communication systems.

• Knowledge of the adoption and adaptation of business analysis approaches based on

the context of the work and selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven)

approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.

• Business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP) and certification in agile methodologies.
