Data Analyst

Resource Innovations is seeking a Data Analyst to join our growing team in Toronto, Canada. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst with a strong background in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL, as well as proficiency in data mining and the ETL process to join our dynamic team. As a Data Analyst you will be developing and optimizing data dashboards, performing data analysis, and supporting data-driven business operations to enhance decision-making efficiency.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Develops and optimize logistics data dashboards and analysis systems.
• Creates and maintains advanced reports using Power BI with hands on experience with DAX, Tableau, and Excel.
• Utilize SQL for efficient data queries and analysis.
• Work with VBA, Power Query, and M language to automate and streamline processes in Excel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven insights.
• Provides comprehensive data analysis strategies to support decision-making.
• Proactively identify business opportunities through data analysis and modeling.
• Manages and prioritize multiple projects, processes, and stakeholder expectations.
• Apply data mining techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Excel: Advanced knowledge of formulas, VBA coding, Power Query, and M Language.
• Power BI & Tableau: Expertise in creating complex dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• DAX & SQL: Advanced proficiency in querying and managing data.
• Data Analysis & Modeling: Ability to analyze data for actionable insights and develop comprehensive solutions.
• Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
  
  

Preferred Skills, Education And Experience

• Python (Preferred): Basic understanding and experience with Python libraries for data analysis is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, preferably in a utility domain.
