Commercial (Ecosystem & OTC) Intern

What You Will Do

  • Expand relationships with existing customers through sustained communication and a deep understanding of their needs.
  • Analyse users behaviour, industry trends, technological innovations, regulatory changes, competitor activities, and similar trends taking place in traditional finance
  • Identify growth opportunities for clients and help to acquire resources to help realise the opportunities.
  • Work with cross functional team internally including engineering, product, legal, marketing to operationalize relevant projects and partners
  • Gather data across sources (blockchain explorers, technical documentation, research papers, research reports, whitepapers, social media, news articles, on-chain analytics, trading metrics, and more) to understand the nuances of success and failure/product-market-fit in blockchain technology/markets
  • Drive deeper OTC volumes and provide market color to clients by understanding their trade and liquidity needs
  • Support ad-hoc tasks related to StraitsX onboarding, DD completion, partner assessments

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven Experience in Web3 Community Building: Experience building Web3 communities and an existing network to tap into, passion for building blockchain communities and entrepreneurial ecosystems
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset and Strategic Thinking: Skilled at working through iterative cycles to test, learn and refine new initiatives until they meet the business objective; ability to be both creative and strategic
  • Strong Project Management Skills: Experience taking a strategy from inception to execution; proven ability to manage end-to-end programs with minimal supervision
  • Cross-Functional Skills: Excellent at collaborating with and influencing many contributors, managing different opinions and stakeholders, and driving toward a unified decision
  • Proactive self starter, energetic and relentless in the pursuit of moving the needle
  • Serious attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-intensity start-up environment
