We are currently looking for a Head of Tech to join our client, a visionary startup in the resale fashion and AI/ML space. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role and drive technological innovation in a company reshaping how people shop secondhand.

This role offers share options and is exclusively for candidates based in the UK.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a smart, kind, determined, and ambitious individual who dreams of building impactful technology in a startup environment. The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong leadership skills and an ability to define and execute the tech vision.
• Commercial and strategic mindset, with a focus on data and prioritization.
• Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with non-tech partners, investors, and team members.
• A balance of pragmatism and innovation, knowing when to build or leverage existing software.
• Passion for creating exceptional customer experiences in a B2B2C context.
• Experience working independently and remotely, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.

Experience and Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is a bonus.
• Expertise in full-stack development, including JavaScript, React, Next.js, AWS, and GCP (BigQuery, Looker).
• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and a passion for data-driven solutions.
• Prior experience in e-commerce or marketplace platforms, with knowledge of apparel being a plus.
• Familiarity with recommendations or matching engines is advantageous.
