Cyber Security Analyst

In this role, you will be supporting with the identification of threats and vulnerabilities across Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety businesses (Blackwoods, Bullivants, Cm3, Coregas & Workwear Group), while implementing technical solutions for cyber-defence. Additionally, you will also be responsible for responding to and managing security threats through the SOC.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and will be based onsite in Macquarie Park.

Some Of The Tasks Of The Role

• Support with vulnerability management across Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety (WIS)
• Be responsible for the identification of undetected threats enterprise wide
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to manage security operations centre and improve threat detection
• Act as the SME for mail security
• Lead investigations of security incidents adhering process and recommend corrective actions
• Act with a continuous improvement mindset to enhance response capabilities
  
  

Some Of The Skills Required

• 3+ years’ experience in an incident response/cybersecurity role
• Knowledge of information security frameworks
• Understanding of technology infrastructures (eg. Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS etc)
• Strong knowledge of mail security, DNS, and certificate management
• Exposure to vulnerability compliance, patch management, anti-malware and control management toolsets
• Experience with Microsoft Security and endpoint detection and response tools
• Working knowledge of SIEM platforms in logging and event management
• Skills and exposure to Threat Hunting Techniques and Tools
