Backend Developer (Senior) API

As a Backend Developer at Transavia, you are a professionally strong team player who knows how to identify and translate the wishes of stakeholders (or the question behind the wish). You define solutions that match what the end users expect and that meet the development and design frameworks of Transavia. You develop software, test and do application support engineering.

Monitoring the quality of products and services throughout the entire life cycle (from idea to end-of-life) is your responsibility. You set up quality control by setting up and maintaining tests in a CI/CD environment. Furthermore, as an Expert from your team, you are involved in major impactful changes at an early stage. You think along with the architects technically.

To demand:

• You have a solid knowledge of the C# programming language;
• Experience with (setting up) application monitoring;
• Knowledge of and experience with ASP.NET Core and REST APIs;
• Demonstrable experience and knowledge of Azure Cloud: such as WebApps; Function Apps; Networking; Application gateway, API Management;
• Secondarily, you have knowledge and experience with XML, SOAP;
• Knowledge of and experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum;
• Knowledge of and experience with CI/CD and code as infrastructure;
• You are result-oriented and have an eye for detail. You want to deliver quality!
• Team player: You are able to work well in a self-managing team (Agile).
• Have a good command of the English language, verbally and in writing. Preferably you also master the Dutch language and/or you are willing to develop the Dutch language from.
• You act proactively and you have the right persuasive power towards your stakeholders (business, other IT teams, PO and architects);
• You are 'agile', or constantly prepared to change. We need this to become better at what we do and to move with the continuously changing world around us.
• Participating in consignment services for backend services is part of keeping the IT landscape up and running 24/7.
