As a Sourcing Specialist, you’ll:

Key Result Areas:

1. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies by integrating relevant requirements into all sourcing and contract documents to support a safe and responsible procurement process.

2. Execute supplier negotiations and finalize award recommendations, establishing contracts that optimize cost savings, quality, and service levels.

3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize and align purchasing activities, ensuring timely and effective fulfilment of business needs.

4. Establish SMART objectives for sourcing initiatives and provide regular, objective feedback to drive performance and achieve targeted outcomes.

5. Lead cost-saving initiatives to deliver measurable financial value for EKFC, contributing to overall business profitability.

6. Negotiate supplier contracts to achieve the best value for EKFC, maintaining high service standards and optimizing supplier performance.

7. Implement innovative sourcing strategies by researching new products and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sourcing activities.

8. Monitor and report category spend, savings, and supplier performance, providing transparency and insights to inform strategic decisions.

9. Develop supplier relationships to position EKFC as a preferred client, enabling continuous improvements and enhanced service delivery.

10. Utilize e-Sourcing and eProcurement tools to drive efficiency and maximize the effectiveness of each sourcing opportunity, achieving optimal results from supplier engagements.

Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience:

Education Qualification:

a) Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

b) Professional qualification in procurement (e.g., MCIPS or equivalent).

Work Experience:

a) Minimum of 5 years in a relevant field.

b) Area of Experience: Hands-on experience in procurement or category management, ideally within the aviation, airline catering, or hospitality industries.

Skills:

a) Proficient understanding of Indirect procurement categories.

b) Working knowledge of systems such as Oracle and Coupa enabling efficient management of procurement processes.

c) Familiarity with effective sourcing techniques and vendor relationship management to drive cost-efficiency and quality.

d) Understanding of contractual terms and conditions to ensure favorable and compliant agreements with suppliers.
