Job Summary:
As a Research Senior Officer at beIN, you will be a vital member of the Group Analytics team, playing a key role in shaping our understanding of customer and viewer needs. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders across various departments (product, marketing,technology etc.) to design, execute, and analyze primary and secondary research projects, focusing on customer experience, product usability, pricing, and market trends. This role requires a proactive, data-driven individual with strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Lead & Execute Research Projects: Independently manage the full lifecycle of research projects, from design (e.g., questionnaire/discussion guide development, sampling strategy) to data analysis, validation, and reporting. This includes managing timelines, budgets, and collaborating with external research agencies.
- Develop & Analyze Data: Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of research data, leveraging appropriate methodologies to derive actionable insights. Create compelling visualizations and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to define research objectives, interpret results, and present findings to stakeholders at all levels. Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
- Insight Management & Dissemination: Contribute to the development and maintenance of an internal insight repository. Develop and distribute regular reports and newsletters highlighting key findings and trends.
- Agency/Partner Management : Be the focal point person for our collaboration with research agencies across a broad array of projects
- Input into the negotiation, commissioning, design, execution, and delivery of research projects in in MENA. Account manage beIN’s existing relationships with research agencies across MENA,and seek out new agencies to support beIN’s Doha business.
- Research Roadmap Development & Tracking: Support the Research Manager in developing the annual research roadmap through consultation with key stakeholders across the business. Track progress against the roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of research projects and reporting on key milestones
Education:
Bachelor degree in human sciences – examples include business studies, economics, maths, statistics, marketing, psychology, or any related fields.
Experience:
A minimum of two years relevant work experience in market research either at a research agency or at client side.
