We are looking for a Junior Developer (Recent Graduate) for a hybrid project based in Porto Lisbon (2x/Week).

Scope: The Quantitative Research - Compute team is responsible for all computational aspects of QR teams within Global Markets. It is a transversal team whose main mandates include enforcing Computer Science best practices, maintaining and enhancing the QR pricing libraries, and building and supporting tools based on these libraries.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance a large software solution, following the team’s best practices.
• Maintain and manage the computational infrastructure required to build and test such solution, in coordination with the rest of the Compute team.
• Eliminate technical obsolescence and drive efforts to ensure application performance.

Requirements:

• Master degree (or higher) in Computer Science or any other science/engineering field with a strong interest in computer science.
• Good understanding of Computer Science concepts: algorithms, complexity, distributed computation, etc.
• Experience with an interpreted language (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with a compiled language (e.g., C++, C#, Java).
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
