We are looking for a highly motivated IT Network & Security Engineer to join a growing team who will be responsible for delivering value-adding business capabilities to support the business lines.

Your Role

• Operating the network infrastructure: This includes LAN & WAN elements encompassing routing, switching, wireless, VOIP, and security solutions for the headquarters, logistics centers, and stores.

• Incident analysis and remediation: Analyzing network infrastructure incidents and fixing operational environment errors.

• Network operations: Performing maintenance, operation, configuration, troubleshooting, and updating the network infrastructure in a high-availability environment.

• Support and implementation: Providing support, coordination, implementation, and verification of network infrastructure-related tasks within planned rollouts.

Your profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the IT field, in a similar position;

• Completed higher education studies;

• Advanced English. Knowledge of German is an advantage;

• Organized, detail-oriented, communicative person who demonstrates proactivity, enthusiasm, and flexibility;

• Basic knowledge in network technologies such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, spanning tree, 802.1x authentication, wireless LAN 802.11, VPN technologies (IPSEC, GETVPN, DMVPN), SD-WAN, firewall policy definition;

•Relevant experience in at least 2 of the following areas of expertise, certifications are considered an advantage:

o Cisco network equipment (such as Catalyst, ISR, ASA, WLC) and Cisco solutions (such as Call Manager, Prime Infrastructure);

o Huawei network equipment (switch & access point), Huawei Agile Controller (iMaster);

o Fortigate firewall security solutions (Fortimanager), Barracuda;

o UNIX distributions and scripting knowledge (e.g. PHP, Perl, Python, Bash)
