Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manual/Functional Tester to join our team, responsible for testing TSYS online and Prime, POS (Point of Sale) Ecommerce, and Merchant Acquiring systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in manual and functional testing methodologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and reporting defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, and ensuring the highest quality of our payment processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual and functional testing of TSYS online and Prime, POS (Point of Sale) Ecommerce, and Merchant Acquiring systems to identify defects and ensure compliance with testing standards.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate system functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize defects, and work with them to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that defects are properly fixed and do not introduce new issues.
• Analyze and report test results, including defects and issues found during testing.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in payment processing and testing methodologies.
• Provide training and support to junior team members to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual and functional testing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of payment processing systems, including TSYS online and Prime, POS (Point of Sale) Ecommerce, and Merchant Acquiring.
• Experience with testing methodologies, including test planning, test case development, and test execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and report defects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure high-quality test results.
• Experience with test management tools, including test planning and execution tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
