Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, and deploying network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls, as well as managing wireless technologies. You will serve as an escalation point for L1 help desk engineers and play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our clients’ networks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, configure, and deploy routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Manage wireless technologies, including access points, cloud keys, and wireless controllers.
  • Serve as an escalation point for L1 help desk engineers.
  • Create and manage trouble tickets and opportunity requests.
  • Stage and configure network devices for deployment.
  • Configure and maintain network monitoring tools.
  • Respond to and resolve escalated network incidents and service requests.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues related to routing, switching, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Schedule upgrades and collaborate with network architects to optimize client networks.
  • Perform network maintenance, including service packs, patches, and security configurations.
  • Assess client network performance and identify potential weaknesses.
  • Provide escalated support and troubleshooting for client issues.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.


Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven hands-on network engineering experience.
  • Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (3+ years).
  • Proficiency in network operating systems such as Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki) installation (3+ years).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple client projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA) are desirable.
