Hays is proud to partner with a leading wholesale food distributor that supplies to a diverse customer base throughout Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

This business has been in operation for three decades and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products and service to their loyal and expanding customer base.

Your new role
This excellent 3-month opportunity will be to support this growing business in the Northern Suburbs and will see you responsible for:

• Prepare and manage employment contracts
  
• Draft and send letters of offer
  
• Update and maintain HR Database as required
  
• Support recruitment processes
  
• Act as a point of contact for employees when required
  
• Handle general administrative tasks
  
• Assist with overflow work as needed
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Must have proven HR experience working 3-4 years within Australia
  
• Experience with HR policies and procedures
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a range of stakeholders
  
• Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to hit the ground running
  
• Experience working with HRIS systems/databases
  
• Previous experience working within blue-collar organisations
