Project Manager

One of our Federal government clients is seeking to engage Project Manager.

Role: Project Manager

Location of work: Canberra and Offsite

Length of contract: 03 Months

Contract extensions: 06 Months extension

Security Clearance: Baseline security clearance.

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to:

1. Develop project documentation including timelines, budgets and resource requirements, and ensure they are aligned with Department and Change Program strategic objectives.

2. Identify project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

• Ensure teams have the necessary tools, resources, and support to execute their work effectively.

• Manage project progress, identify and manage or escalate issues, and communicate project status to stakeholders.

• Act as a conduit between technical resources, program management, product management and executive stakeholders to promote alignment.

• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, and comply with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

• Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.

• Build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders, including internal staff and contractors, and external scheme participants and partners.
