Network Support Engineer-Freelance

-----------Task Description---------- 

1- The field engineer (FE) is required to Do network Migration. 

2- Complete installation of Fortinet SD-WAN (70F Or 100F)

3- Installation of device with some basic configuration needed.

4- The engineer will have to provide the console access to remote team for configuration.

5- Make sure to carry all networking tools along.

6- The engineer will be onsite with the schedule below:

Note:

- 2 hours of presence before intervention: physical installation, initial cabling, FortiGate provisioning… -> No impact expected

- 1 hour of active intervention: Target cabling, routing change, connectivity check, redundancy test… -> Total outage

- 1 hour after intervention: Users test according to the list of functional tests prepared.

--------Required TOOLKIT for Onsite Engineer--------

- Laptop with console cable (+ RS232 to USB adaptor if needed) in case of initial deployment errors to troubleshoot using console port.

- Putty Installed and activated on laptop

- Software to share screen and remote control: Teams (preferred) or Any desk.

- 2x USB drives, tested and formatted as FAT32 (16 GB max each)

- Network cables (2m): Color-coded cables as defined in the intervention form mentioned in section 5 (CAT 5/CAT 6 RJ45 2m cables: 2 Green, 2 Yellow, 4 Orange, 4 Grey and 1 Red)

- A Cell phone

- A Labelling machine

- Tools to physically install tray (screwdriver, screw, etc.)
