WHAT WE DO

We are set up to provide our customers with end-to-end support in the process of developing software solutions:

• Business need analysis, design of functional and non-functional requirements, system analysis, support for business transformation and IT/business consultancy;
• User interface and experience design and development for mobile and desktop applications;
• Front and back-end development in a wide range of technologies: Java, .Net, Ruby, GoLang, Oracle, Python.
• Complete Data Warehouse solutions from architecture, design and implementation using mainly Vertica, Oracle and Microsoft platforms.
• Avalanche has been the central counterparty for multiple major banking projects in the Scandinavia and Baltics, in areas such as lending automation, regulatory reporting and calculations, integrations, governance, risk and compliance, Basel II/III, Stress Testing, AML/KYC.

Avalanche Labs is looking for Site Reliability Engineers to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reliable software systems. You will develop Infrastructure and Software solutions to automate processes and enhance the overall efficiency and reliability both for DevOps and ITOps as well as for the support teams. Nevertheless you'll also have the opportunity to lead root cause analysis of system failures and will be the voice heard when new strategy implementation will be happening.

DO YOU HAVE...

💫 5+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps engineering;

💫 AWS Proficiency: hands-on experience in constructing and managing infrastructure on AWS platform;

💫 IaC: experience with Terraform and Terragrunt;

💫 Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, essential for managing and automating infrastructure deployments;

💫 Knowledge of Containerization Technologies;

💫 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Specific Skills and Tools:

💫 Proficiency in AWS environment;

💫 Proficient in Bash and Python;

💫 Proficient with Jenkins;

💫 Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as: NewRelic, ELK, Zabbix etc.;

💫 Good familiarity with Docker and Kubernates;

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

🚀 Designing, building, and maintaining reliable software systems;

🚀 Developing Software and Infrastructure Solutions: Create software tools to automate processes and enhance efficiency, and reliability for DevOps, ITOps, and support teams, while also constructing and managing cloud-based infrastructure on the AWS platform;

🚀 Lead root cause analysis of system failures and implement strategies to prevent future incidents;

🚀 Conducting post-incident reviews and implementing remediation actions;
