Technical Support Engineer

At JK Recruitment, we are working with our trusted partner, a product development company focused on building software for public transportation. Their mission is to improve the lives of people by providing better transportation services.

Their product covers the full spectrum of transportation management needs, including passengers' mobile apps, vehicle schedules, monitoring, fare management, payment processing, and analytics. Their system is tightly integrated with various devices, such as handhelds, validators, and vehicle computers, and is used across multiple cities in the US, Romania, and Bulgaria.

We are currently seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their amazing team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to clients in Romania via a ticketing system.

• Gain an in-depth understanding of the system, enabling you to analyze issues and provide solutions independently, or with the assistance of a developer.

• Represent the customer in communication with the Engineering team.

• Maintain and expand both internal and client knowledge bases.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Romanian and English.

• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• A passion for self-improvement and skill development.

• Previous experience in customer support is an advantage.

• Familiarity with software, support systems, and workflows is a plus.

• Solid technical knowledge, including experience with Web technologies, Networking, Databases, and SQL.
