Java Software Engineer

Our client, a leading fintech company based in Singapore’s Central Business District, is seeking a Software Engineer. While candidates can use any programming language for the coding test, the primary language used for daily work is Java.

Job Description

• Design and implement integration solutions to connect with multiple systems and services seamlessly.
• Build high-volume, high-performance, low-latency, and reliable mission-critical applications.
• Develop clean, maintainable, robust, and testable code to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Conduct detailed reviews of code and test cases to maintain high-quality standards.
• Implement tools, processes, or solutions to improve software delivery and operational efficiency.
• Stay abreast of the latest software development trends and adopt industry best practices to drive excellence.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• Prior experience in software development within the finance, payment, or banking sectors is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Java and at least one other programming language.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
• Solid foundation in frameworks such as Spring, JUnit, and similar tools.
• Exceptional social, communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
