Business Analyst PMO

BRISBANE-BASED ROLE

MUST HAVE PMO EXPERIENCE

A leading energy provider is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their Digital Division, supporting the transition to a Directive PMO. This critical role will focus on portfolio planning, process design, and stakeholder engagement to deliver key initiatives within the PMO Transition Program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop business cases, process documentation, and specifications to support PMO initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into actionable outcomes.
• Lead or contribute to process design, testing, and change management activities.
• Analyse and document “as-is” and “to-be” business processes using appropriate notations.
• Support backlog management and agile delivery using tools like Jira.
• Research and evaluate additional products/solutions for portfolio management.

About You:

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis within large, complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of PMO establishment activities, processes, and portfolio management.
• Proven ability to develop business process models and maintain documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, including SCRUM and Jira.
• Desirable: Knowledge of P3O and the Energy Industry.
