Location: 40% on-site in Hamburg, 60% remote

Contract Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week, Monday to Friday)

Duration: 10 months (March 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025)

Salary: Up to €84,000 annually (based on experience)

About the Role:

Are you passionate about leveraging technology to transform healthcare? Join us as a Java Developer and play a vital role in the development and provision of innovative solutions within the framework of digital health applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop modern applications.
• Collaborate with specialist departments and IT experts to deliver effective, innovative solutions.
• Contribute to areas such as electronic files, archiving, document capture, electronic legal communication, and healthcare communication (KIM).

Qualifications and Skills:

Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of Java 11/17, Java EE, SpringBoot, Eclipse, IntelliJ, YAML, Confluence, Jira, and Github.
• Experience with tools and platforms such as OSGiOpenShift, Jenkins, Mockito, JUnit 5.
• Proficiency with Oracle databases and Oracle SQL Developer

Domain Knowledge:

• Experience in Telematics Infrastructure, DiGA, eVerordnung, VAU communication, and FHIR.
• Proven involvement in at least one project within statutory health insurance (GKV).

Education and Experience:

• A completed university degree in (business) informatics (Master’s level or equivalent) or comparable proven knowledge.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Java software development and service-oriented IT system development.
• Strong Java development skills, including JUnit 5, Jakarta EE, JPA, and Mockito.
