Business Analyst (Cyber Security)

Barden is excited to partner with the Program Director of a global Irish tech company to identify a Business Analyst to join their Cyber Security team. As a Business Analyst, you will focus on supporting business transformation initiatives within the Cyber Security function, ensuring alignment between business and technical requirements. This is a daily rate contract role.


The ideal person will have experience in business analysis, particularly in cybersecurity or IT, and will be dedicated to establishing and improving governance, processes, and business documentation. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the seamless alignment of business objectives with technology solutions, contributing to the success of the overall program.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Work with senior cyber leaders and cyber SMEs to understand the Cyber’s BAU (Business as Usual) goals and priorities, and the capabilities required to deliver them. You will help establish a governance structure specific to Cyber Security and business transformation, ensuring it aligns with the overall program goals.
  • Collaborate with each pillar lead to develop or enhance existing core process documents and workflows, ensuring consistency across the Cyber Security function.
  • Work with third-party consultants supporting the program to document business requirements and processes, ensuring alignment with the overall strategy and business objectives.
  • Track business analysis progress, issues, and risks using tools like Jira, ensuring seamless alignment of business objectives with technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Architecture Team and third-party consultants to ensure appropriate mapping of the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Toolset, considering all in-situ infrastructure dependencies.


ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in business analysis, with a proven track record of supporting business transformation initiatives.
  • Strong experience working with business stakeholders to document and align business requirements with technical teams, ensuring transformation success.
  • Proficient in business analysis tools and methodologies, with a working knowledge of Jira for tracking business analysis progress and risk management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to collaborate across organizational levels and with third-party partners.
  • Solid understanding of Cyber Security governance and process improvement, with a focus on business outcomes and delivering value.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model, with approximately two days a week in the Dublin office.
