Tickmill is looking to hire an HR Specialist to join our team and support the various functions within the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, training, payroll, and benefits administration.


Overall, the successful candidate must ensure that the Company’s HR department in Estonia is supported in terms of operations and to ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. The role is essential for ensuring compliance with local labour laws, smooth payroll coordination, offer support to our employees and managers and providing an overall great employee experience.

What does the job look like?


The HR Specialist will have the opportunity to:


  • Support the local HR recruitment processes such as creating and posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Manage the local offboarding as well as the onboarding process, including orientation and training for new hires.
  • Maintain employee records, updating HRIS systems and databases, while providing reports where necessary.
  • Assist in benefits administration and coordinate with the rest of the HR team for providing a positive employee experience in Tickmill.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, while fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure the Company follows local labor laws and internal company policies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee & managers inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, local employment law, payroll related matters and benefits.
  • Assist in resolving employee conflicts and grievances in collaboration with the Group Head of HR.


What will you need to be able to do the job?


  • Bachelor's and/or MSc degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
  • Proven experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, HR Officer, Recruiter, or similar position.
  • Minimum experience of 2 years in recruitment and conducting interviews.
  • Relevant knowledge of HR trends, local labor legislation and payroll practice.
  • Strong diligence and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Proactive can-do attitude and a team player.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent command of Estonian and English language.
