Back End Developer

As a backend engineer, you’ll design, build and scale products within our notifications system, with a focus on the platform level infrastructure work. We work collaboratively as a team with product managers, data science and other engineering teams.

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a BE engineer

Must have:

• Experience with golang or python
• Knowledge of basic datastore technologies (cassandra, Redis, postgres)
• Familiarity with SQL
• Familiarity with unit testing and other automated testing
• Has operational experience supporting live ops for websites
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Nice to have:
• some knowledge of GraphQL, airflow
• Familiarity with queueing technology (Kafka, SQS or equivalent)
