Senior Software Engineer(.Net)

Job Summary:

A skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer (.Net) is needed with expertise in full-cycle engineering of web API and microservices according to client standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of microservices (RESTful APIs, Reactive and Batch) based applications.
• Development of APIs based on BIAN (Banking Industry Architecture Network) spec.
• Responsible for understanding and migrating legacy APIs to AWS Cloud.
• Responsible for refactoring and rearchitecting legacy APIs to make them more cloud-native – utilising ASP.Net and AWS services.
• Responsible for design and development of data layer services – RDBMS, NoSQL.
• Responsible for integrating the legacy APIs with the systems of records - SAP, IFW, GCPS, mainframes etc.
• Follow coding standards and best practices to achieve high quality outcome.
• Play an active role in positively influencing the design direction and decisions.
• Check in and deploy code and configurations; participate in release management.
• Taking ownership of the features/components - from design, development through deployment and verification, to setting up in production.
• Participate in key initiatives from the Engineering team on innovative ways to improve capability, standards and risk profile of the platform.

Skills:

• Expert in microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, Aurora, DocumentDB, Kong API gateway, IM Roles & Policy, Bean Stalk, Fargate, Load balancer, EC2, EKS etc.).
• Expertise in MVC framework, Oauth2 and AWS CDK.
• Expertise in database design and implementation.
• CI-CD Tools – Github, Github Actions, SonarQube, Docker.
• Microservices Architecture, Design Patterns and best practices in software programming.
• Monitoring and logging tools – Observe and Splunk.
• Expertise in .NET development.
• Experienced in Performance Tuning while building High throughput and resilient applications.
• SDLC with Agile methodology.
• Banking and Payments domain knowledge.
