IT Operations Specialist – Oslo - Inhouse

Are you an IT professional passionate about device management, endpoint security, and operational excellence? This is an exciting role for a security simulation start-up based in Oslo. This role covers all aspects of support and operations, focusing on managing and optimizing Microsoft Intune solutions while handling 3rd line support functions. Helping assist the team in multiple areas, this is a key role as it's the first hire in this position for the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Device Management: Configure and manage devices using Microsoft Intune, ensuring secure and efficient endpoint operations.
• Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance and configuration policies for Windows, iOS, Android, and macOS devices.
• Support: Act as the 3rd line of support, resolving complex escalated tickets and providing technical expertise.
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Automation: Streamline operations by scripting and automating processes using PowerShell or similar tools.
• Collaboration: Work with internal IT teams to ensure alignment with security policies and overall IT strategy.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and Windows Autopilot.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues in a 3rd line support capacity.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting or similar automation tools.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices for endpoint security.
• Problem-solving skills, independence, and a proactive mindset in a small team environment.
• Strong communication skills for knowledge sharing and collaboration.
