Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer with broad technical expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions. In this role, you will collaborate across teams to integrate various services and explore AI-driven features. If you have a passion for building robust, high-quality products and enjoy working with modern technologies, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

1. API Development 

   - Architect and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless interaction between multiple systems and services

   - Optimize existing integrations to improve performance and reliability

2. Application Development

   - Develop and maintain backend systems using Laravel (or similar PHP frameworks)

   - Collaborate with frontend teams using Angular (or similar) to deliver interactive and user-friendly applications

3. Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS)

   - Deploy, monitor, and manage services on AWS to ensure scalability and resilience

   - Employ best practices for cost optimization and security in a cloud environment

 4. AI/ML Development

   - Contribute to the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions or features

   - Collaborate with data teams to identify opportunities for machine learning applications

5. Collaboration & Agile Practices

   - Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to deliver high-impact solutions

   - Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and maintain technical documentation

Required Qualifications

- Experience in software engineering with proficiency in Laravel or similar PHP framework

- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Angular

- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS)

- Basic understanding of AI or machine learning concepts (model deployment, data processing)

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice-to-Have

- Docker knowledge for containerizing and deploying applications

- Rust programming experience or a willingness to learn

- Experience with Flutter, Python and database skills such as SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB

- Marketplace/E-commerce background or prior work on high-traffic platforms
