In this position….

You will be responsible for architecting and engineering network solutions for Campus, Manufacturing plant, Warehouse, and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

What you'll do….

  • Participate in Test, Certify and Release of Cisco Switches, software, and firmware for global network deployment.
  • Provide Level 3/4 supports/troubleshoots network issues and coordinates new installation of such items as routers and switches, Software Defined solution (SDN) with appropriate vendors.
  • Develop the solution to conducts tests of network redundancy, resilience, and failover of network elements to ensure up-time standards are fully achieved.
  • Provide technical consultation to Network Planning & Network Operations teams.
  • Work with other Network Service teams to Develop tools to automate the deployment, administration and monitoring of a network system.
  • Works with cross functional teams to enhance and improve system operability.


Qualifications

You'll have…

  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco LAN infrastructure and related systems including Catalyst 9k switches, Catalyst Center, and Identity Services Engine (ISE)
  • In-depth understanding of networking and IP protocols (OSPF, BGP), Cisco Software Defined Networking (SD-Access) and Cisco Industrial switches
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco routing & switching, IOS-XE Software
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio, Excel, Sharepoint, and Teams
  • Strong project management skills, organizational skills, personal discipline, interpersonal relationship skills and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong process mindset – ability to create, improve, and follow effective & sustainable processes.
  • High standards for Quality, technical & professional Excellence, and driving Efficiency.5+
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

This position is a salary grade 6.
