Machine Learning Engineer

Coders Connect is partnering with a cutting-edge start-up that is revolutionizing how businesses leverage data for decision-making. The company focuses on building advanced forecasting solutions that help drive sustainability efforts and optimize resource use. They're looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team and be part of creating their first commercial MVP.

What you'll do:

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing data-driven insights and helping shape the company's long-term success. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building the First Product: Collaborate in a cross-functional team to design, optimize, and deploy both the forecasting algorithms and data visuals that will power the company's first MVP.
• Designing a Future-Proof Infrastructure: Implement explainable ML and AI solutions, develop systems for monitoring model and data drift, and create processes that will allow the rapid production of new models.
• Ensuring Platform Performance: Develop product analytics to monitor performance and inform product development decisions.
• Staying Ahead with Technology: Keep up with the latest industry trends to ensure the use of cutting-edge technology that maximizes business impact.

Requirements:

• Strong Forecasting Background: Extensive experience in building and deploying forecasting models, with hands-on knowledge of various tools and techniques.
• Advanced ML Skills: Proficient in deploying machine learning pipelines and creating explainable AI solutions, while staying in tune with business needs.
• Data Visualization Expertise: Skilled at translating complex datasets and time series into easy-to-understand insights.
• Team-Oriented with a Product Focus: A clear communicator and collaborative team player with a product-led approach to engineering.
• Start-up Experience: A background in early-stage environments, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Relocation Flexibility: Must be an EU citizen and available to relocate to the Netherlands.

Preferred Tech Stack:

You will have input on shaping the company’s tech stack. Some preferred tools and technologies include:

• Languages: Python for ML, R for data analysis
• ML Libraries: scikit-learn, Prophet, TensorFlow, Keras
• Data Processing/Storage: SQL, Spark
• Cloud Platform: Azure
• Version Control: Git
