What You’ll Be Doing

As a Graduate Business Analyst, you will work closely with the implementation and services teams to deliver tailored solutions to our clients. This role requires problem-solving, analytical thinking, and technical skills to ensure seamless delivery of our energy trading solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist implementation, customer service, and consulting teams in delivering out-of-the-box and customized solutions to clients in Australia and New Zealand.
• Conduct analysis, solution design, and prepare technical specifications for development teams.
• Perform ad hoc support and troubleshooting for clients.
• Participate in market analysis to identify trends and improve trading strategies.
• Optimize client portfolios to maximize commercial outcomes.
• Maintain and improve energy trading models to support decision-making.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to learn. You should have a passion for complex quantitative problem-solving, strong analytical skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Key Competencies:

• A degree in IT, finance, engineering, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of IT systems development processes, with experience in SQL and database design being highly desirable.
• Leadership potential and a collaborative mindset.
• Flexibility to work weekends or public holidays as needed, on a roster basis.
• Experience in energy trading markets (STTM, DWGM, GSH, NEM, WEM) or portfolio optimization is advantageous but not essential.
