We are looking for a skilled and experienced System Product Owner to develop and oversee our document management platform.

Our vision is to create an integrated document and data management foundation that will enable Nokia Technologies to build world class tools and processes to support reaching our patenting targets. What is more, the document and data management will enable us to harness the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and modern automation technologies to further boost the operational efficiency of Nokia Patent Portfolio management.

You will join a dynamic, fast-paced environment and work in a mixed team of in-house experts and suppliers together with cross-functional teams to create document and IP data management solutions supporting Nokia Technologies to grow its business. This new position is in Nokia Technologies’ Patenting Solutions team.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

Your role in our team:

  • As the System Product Owner, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our Document Management Platform (M-files). You’ll oversee operational stability, performance, compliance, solution development, documentation, supplier relationships, costs, and user experience.
  • Ensure timely incident resolution, address platform issues proactively, and maintain high platform performance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Patenting Solutions development team to collect business requirements, manage and prioritize the development backlog, releases, roadmap and the long-term platform evolution vision for the document management solution.
  • Play a key role to a major transformation program, tackling tasks ranging from end-user engagement to the design and development of a new technology platform for patent portfolio document management.
  • Drive setup of the Document Management Platform and service, ensuring sustainable ways of working for the team, fostering collaborative and high performing environment.
  • Participate in technology evaluations, prototyping, pilots, and proof-of-concept initiatives as well as building business cases.
  • Contribute to setting up document management culture, ways of working and governance structures for document and data management across Nokia Technologies.

Key Skills And Experience

The best combination of experiences, skills and background for the role:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years working experience in M-files or other Content Management System concepting, development and maintenance.
  • Proven experience in leading large and complex IT transformations.
  • Broad understanding of IT solution management in corporate environment, addressing security, privacy and other compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, integration technologies and APIs.
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership, project management, service management and agile software development and methodologies (e.g. Scrum, DevOps).
  • Strong collaboration skills and excellent proficiency written and spoken English.
  • Passion for learning, innovation and coaching others.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of operating at varying levels of abstraction and the ability to communicate with both business stakeholders and developers alike.
  • Master’s degree in Computer science, Information systems science, Technology, or other relevant field.

Other valued experience and capabilities:

  • Familiarity with patenting, licensing and/or legal processes.
  • Experience in architectural level software engineering, platform and integration design.
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce platform is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with Jira.
