Human Resources Generalist

The HR Generalist will deliver comprehensive support across all employee lifecycle aspects. This role is integral to the organisation’s strategic and operational success, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and HR system optimization. Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a trusted advisor to both management and employees, offering guidance on HR matters and addressing workplace concerns.
• Offer advice to employees on HR policies and procedures, ensuring clarity and compliance.
• Partner with managers to assess workforce needs, ensuring timely and effective hiring decisions.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices align with legal requirements and best practices.
• Assist managers with employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and welfare meetings, while supporting related investigations and hearings.
• Oversee the visa and work permit application process for employees, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding of new hires.
• Lead as the HR System Supervisor, optimising and maintaining HR systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor HR metrics such as absence trends, providing actionable insights to managers.
• Develop and implement engagement and recognition initiatives to cultivate a motivated and inclusive workplace.
• Drive continuous improvement projects within the HR function, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• A 3rd Level HR qualification or equivalent professional experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or similar environment as an HR Generalist is advantageous.
• Proficiency in HR systems with a track record of optimisation and effective utilisation.
• Strong understanding of employment law, regulatory compliance & workplace relations.
• Problem-solving expertise and a proactive approach to conflict resolution.
• Passion for driving continuous improvement and contributing to impactful HR projects.
