Software / DevOps Engineer

Position: Junior Software/DevOps Engineer

Location: 100% remote opportunity. You must be based in Germany.

Salary Range: 60,000 - 75,000 EUR

We are working with an exciting SME who have built an AI-driven platform. After partnering directly with NVIDIA to build their own GPU cluster they are building their own LLM infrastructure which will be deployed into their customers across Germany.

This is a huge opportunity for somebody to join an environment to learn, cross-collaborate and deploy high activity on giant GPUs. You will be responsible for a ChatGPT like product used in companies of varying sizes on a major scale.

You will get the chance to understand how tools like Docker, Kubernetes and others function at a much deeper level.

Role Expectations:

• Implement best practices for security, backups, and scaling within Kubernetes environments.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery processes and reduce time to market.
• Monitor and maintain infrastructures using Grafana, Prometheus, and similar tools.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of AI-driven products, ensuring successful migrations and updates.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support product development and maintain high availability.

Requirements:

• Knowledge in TypeScript or Python or similar OOP languages.
• Kubernetes and Docker experience is a big plus.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on operational efficiency.
• Minimum of a BSc. Degree in a relevant field scoring of 2.2 grade or better
• You must be a Fluent German speaker (this is non negotiable)

Bonus requirements:

• Helm and Terraform
• Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, and Dynatrace (or similar monitoring tools).
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Understanding of Linux-based environments.
